The victory of the ruling Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party in the 2024 parliamentary elections is important for maintaining peace and economic development of the country, the party secretary general, Tbilisi mayor Kakha Kaladze said, XQ informs referring to the Georgian media.
“We plan to visit everywhere throughout the country. At the same time, we are starting pre-election preparations. The year 2024 is an important year for our country, parliamentary elections will take place, which the Georgian Dream will meet prepared,” he noted.
Parliamentary elections will be held next fall using a completely proportional system. This, according to experts, makes it difficult for one party to obtain more than half of the parliamentary mandates, which is necessary for the sole formation of a government.
