At the initiative of the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University (BSU), a scientific-practical internship program was organized with the participation of doctoral candidates from Bukhara State Medical University of Uzbekistan, as well as the faculty’s master’s students and first-year students majoring in biotechnology.

The purpose of the program was to ensure participants’ direct familiarization with modern laboratory technologies, applied analysis methods, and current research directions.

Within the framework of the internship program, participants became acquainted with scientific research conducted in the specialized laboratories of BSU’s Faculty of Biology. Information was provided on projects carried out in the fields of molecular biology, biochemistry, genetic analysis, and plant biotechnology, and the operating principles of laboratory equipment, sample preparation stages, and interpretation of analytical results were explained in a practical manner. This stage was significant in reinforcing students’ theoretical knowledge in a practical environment.

The internship program continued at the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry. Participants were informed about the agrarian-biological research areas conducted at the institute and laboratory analysis methods.
