The Baku State University (BSU) and the Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation.
The MoU was inked by Elchin Babayev, Rector of Baku State University (BSU), and Nurlan Sergaliyev, Rector of Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University.
According to the memorandum, both universities intend to implement joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, short-term courses, and trainings within their faculties, institutes, and colleges to improve the teaching and learning process, and align it with international standards, as well as to conduct collaborative scientific research.
The memorandum also includes provisions for joint publications in scientific journals, development of shared academic programs, curricula and syllabi, organization of trainings, and exchange of academic and administrative staff, as well as researchers.
