Vice-Rector for General Affairs of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR Babek Mammadov and Dean of the Faculty of Continuing Education of BHOS Rovshan Budagov took part in the 27th International Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan – OGU-2025" and the International Energy Forum held in Tashkent.

They viewed the stands of various countries and visited the SOCAR pavilion, which was honored with the “Best Corporate Stand Design” award.

As part of the forum, the BHOS representatives met with Rector of Petronas University of Technology (Malaysia), Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib and Rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Prof. Botir Usmanov.

During the forum, Babek Mammadov addressed the panel on “Planning Human Resources in the Energy Sector.” He provided information about the Dual Degree Master's Program in Chemical Engineering, a BHOS project to export Azerbaijani educational programs abroad, implemented jointly with the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the Bukhara Engineering Technological Institute.
