Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR Elmar Gasimov met with students who voluntarily and actively participated in COP29 held in Baku on November 11-22, 2024.
The rector emphasized that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev highly appreciated the students’ activities and awarded them with Certificates of Appreciation and cash prizes. Elmar Gasimov expressed gratitude to the head of state and noted that COP29 is of global importance in the fight against climate change and serves as a platform for gaining valuable experience for both the country as a whole and for BHOS students in particular.
At the end of the meeting, the rector presented the students with Certificates of Appreciation.
The students, in turn, shared their impressions of participating in COP29, noting that this event had had a positive impact on their personal and professional development.
