Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have discussed the possibilities of launching a joint double degree program in food and electrical engineering, design, and business management, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan.
According to the ministry, the Uzbek side was represented by ministry officials and higher education institutions led by Deputy Minister Sarvarkhan Buzrukhanov, while the Azerbaijani side was represented by a delegation headed by Shahin Sadighov, chairman of the Board of the Research Institute of Economics under the Ministry of Economy.
The meeting participants noted that cooperation between the two countries in higher education is entering a new stage.
"During the dialogue, the possibilities of launching a joint double degree program in food and electrical engineering, design and business management, conducting joint research to analyze prospects for long-term socio-economic cooperation, as well as creating an interstate scientific expert council were discussed," the information emphasizes.
Following the meeting, the parties decided to begin practical work on the discussed issues and outline roadmaps for future plans.
