A new school building, designed for 132 pupils and constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the Hajigadirli village of Shamakhi, has been commissioned. Representatives from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Shamakhi District Executive Authority, teachers, students, and local villagers attended the inauguration ceremony.

During the event, Shamil Azizov, a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Tahir Mammadov, head of the Shamakhi District Executive Authority, congratulated the teachers and students on the opening of the new school building.

Tahir Mammadov spoke about the government's efforts to improve education in the country, highlighting the strengthening of the material and technical resources of secondary schools in Shamakhi in recent years, the construction of new educational institutions, and the projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in this sector.

Acting principal Sheyda Sheydayev mentioned that the new school building is fully equipped with the necessary facilities. On behalf of the teaching staff and the villagers, he thanked President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the new school.

The old building of the secondary school in Hajigadirli, constructed in 1975, had fallen into disrepair. As a result, a new school building, designed for 132 pupils, was constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The two-story school complex comprises three buildings and is equipped with all the necessary furniture and tools. Subject rooms and laboratories are fitted with visual aids. The school includes 10 classrooms, laboratories for physics, chemistry, and biology, rooms for information technology, military and labor training, a library, a canteen, assembly and sports halls, and an outdoor sports ground.

The new school also features an uninterrupted water supply, a heating system, as well as fire alarm and video surveillance systems.

Sixteen teachers will be responsible for the education of 132 students at the new school.
