Vice Rectors Şenol Hakan Kutoğlu and Servet Karasu from Türkiye’s Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University visited Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Rector Yagub Piriyev provided the vice rectors with an overview of the university’s history, as well as its teaching and scientific activities.

He highlighted BEU’s international relations and emphasized the importance of establishing strong cooperation with Turkish universities.

The Turkish delegation expressed their enthusiasm for collaborating with BEU and discussed various ways to further develop these relations.

Following the meeting, the two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation in education and research.

The document includes provisions for student and academic staff exchanges, the development of joint academic courses and programs, as well as the organization of conferences, seminars, and training sessions.

The delegation also toured the university’s campus, including the Cyber Security and Mechanics laboratories.
