A delegation led by President of the National Oil Company of the Republic of Congo Raoul Ominga has visited the Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS).
First, a tour of the BHOS campus was organized for the guests, during which they were provided with detailed information about the modern teaching and research environment at the university.
Speaking about the importance of cooperation in the field of education, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov noted that graduates of Baku Higher Oil School work in various local industrial enterprises, including those owned by SOCAR, and transnational companies. “29 out of 102 young people who have been awarded the Presidential Scholarship in the country are BHOS students.”
During the meeting, the possibilities for Congolese students to study at Baku Higher Oil School were discussed. Elmar Gasimov suggested that BHOS specialists conduct online trainings for employees of the National Oil Corporation of the Republic of Congo.
