Magnitude 3.1 quake strikes Caspian Sea

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Caspian Sea on Friday, according to the Republican Seismic Survey Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

The quake, at the depth of 33 km, was recorded at 12:29 local time.
