Another group of former IDPs leaves for Azerbaijan's Jabrayil

Another group of former internally displaced persons has departed for the rebuilding city of Azerbaijan's Jabrayil, Report informs.

Families previously temporarily housed in dormitories, sanatoriums, children's camps, unfinished and administrative buildings in various districts of the republic departed for their homeland from the Garadagh district of Baku on December 2.

At this stage, 34 families (129 people) have left for the city. As a result of the brilliant victory of the Azerbaijani army in the Patriotic War under the leadership of President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, former internally displaced persons have the opportunity to return to their homeland voluntarily, safely and with dignity after 30 years.

Jabrayil residents expressed gratitude to the head of state and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for comprehensive state care, and thanked the brave Azerbaijani army for liberating the country's lands from occupation, wishing peace to the souls of martyrs who died for this noble cause.

About 30,000 people live in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, including former internally displaced persons, those working on projects in these regions, employees of local branches of various state institutions, workers of resumed healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry and energy institutions.
