Baku hosting International Youth Forum

An International Youth Forum titled "Supporting Environmental Policy through Young Leaders" is being held in Baku to garner international public support for the upcoming COP29 climate conference.

Report informs that the four-day event is financially supported by the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation (AGF), organized by the Azerbaijan Democratic Student Youth Organization Public Union (ADTGT), and partnered with the National Assembly of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (NAYORA).

The forum brings together 24 young leaders and NGO heads working with youth from 18 countries, including France, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Czechia, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Türkiye, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Kazakhstan. Over 60 Azerbaijani youth organization leaders, government representatives, and experts are also participating.

During the 4-day event, participants will engage in panel discussions on global environmental and climate change issues, ways to combat them, expanding eco-volunteering, promoting a green world, cooperation opportunities in green participation, garnering international public support for COP29, and promoting Azerbaijan's global activities for a green world.
