Azerspace-1 begins live coverage during Arbaeen pilgrimage

Arbaeen, one of the world’s largest annual pilgrimages in Iraq, began live broadcast on the Azerspace-1 satellite.

The live broadcast encompasses all events and ceremonies related to the Arbaeen pilgrimage, allowing viewers to follow every detail of the event in Persian, Arabic, English, Turkish, and Urdu languages. The video content of the event is transmitted to the television network of more than 5 global media groups via Azerspace-1. Through Azerspace-1 satellite’s connectivity, approximately 50% of the viewers of the 500 million people of the Middle East countries will have a chance to witness the scenes of the pilgrimage.

According to official figures, more than 20 million people will participate in the Arbaeen pilgrimage, which began this week and will be held in Iraqi city of Karbala, until the end of August.
