“During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts 251 anti-personnel and 141 anti-tank mines, as well as 1,068 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were found and neutralized from May 1 to 31,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
“As a result, 4839,3 hectares were cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
