In a noteworthy contribution, staff members of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) produced over 1,700 new articles and made modifications to about 12,000 existing ones in the Azerbaijani language section of Wikipedia.
The "Electronic Academy" department of ANAS Presidium played a pivotal role by organizing Wikipedia trainings at the Central Scientific Library throughout the past year. Volunteer organizations have actively participated in creating and enhancing articles within the Azerbaijani language section of Wikipedia.
Furthermore, the "Electronic Academy" department`s direct involvement and initiative resulted in the generation of 471 articles on Wikipedia, including 258 in Azerbaijani, 69 in English, 72 in Turkish, 53 in Russian, 8 in Persian, 10 in German, and 1 in Uzbek.
The Azerbaijani language section of Wikipedia currently boasts 198,025 articles, with a total of 7,398,859 edits.
