After the independence of Azerbaijan, the local media has developed as an integral part of the democratic society, the Head of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security, Ilgar Musayev, told the Media Literacy conference, Report informs.
Musayev said that National Leader Heydar Aliyev always paid attention to the activities of the press during his presidency.
Stating that the issue is still a priority today, the speaker noted that the increase in social network users creates conditions for an increase in the number of cyber attacks: "The current situation of information security in our country is getting stronger. The implemented measures contribute to this."
