Elmar Mammadov, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Bulgaria, presented his credentials to the country’s Deputy Foreign Minister Radi Naidenov.

During the meeting, Ambassador Elmar Mammadov and Deputy Foreign Minister Radi Naidenov reviewed the current state and prospects of Azerbaijan–Bulgaria bilateral relations. Particular attention was paid to advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as enhancing cooperation in energy, green energy, digital development, transport connectivity, culture, and people-to-people contacts.

The sides stressed the importance of maintaining active political dialogue and hailed the positive momentum in bilateral cooperation in recent years. In this regard, Azerbaijan’s role as a reliable partner in ensuring Europe’s energy security was highly commended. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the Azerbaijan–Bulgaria strategic partnership.
