“The total population of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is approaching to 180 million, and the gross domestic product is nearing $2.1 trillion with an average annual growth rate of 5 per cent. These figures underscore a significant opportunity for strengthening trade relations,” said Cevdet Yılmaz, Turkish Vice President, as he addressed the meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice President of the Member States of Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku.

“Moreover, in 2024, the total volume of exports between OTS member and observer countries reached $35.3 billion, which is equivalent to 6.1 percent of the total exports of our countries worldwide,” he noted.

The Turkish Vice President emphasized that during the same period, the countries have once again proven their worth globally, achieving a turnover of approximately $1.2 trillion in trade throughout the world.
