"We highly value the importance of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. This year, Kazakhstan intends to sign a relevant intergovernmental agreement with Azerbaijan to enhance the institutional status of the Middle Corridor," said Olzhas Bektenov, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, as he addressed the meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice President of the Member States of Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku.
“Furthermore, it is crucial to maintain the stability of the route and ensure its integration with the opening of the Zangezur Corridor. In this regard, Kazakhstan is ready to engage more actively in the project, and today a number of Kazakh companies are interested in the construction and modernization of railway infrastructure,” he noted.
"Kazakhstan will also host an Informal OTS Summit on artificial intelligence and digital development, which I believe will inject new impetus to digital transformation, as well as contribute to fostering technological cooperation,” Kazakh PM Olzhas Bektenov emphasized.
