Azerbaijan has facilitated the evacuation of the Dutch Ambassador and the embassy staff from Iran via the Astara state border checkpoint.
According to AZERTAC's regional correspondent, members of the Dutch diplomatic mission have been evacuated from the Astara state border checkpoint, entering the territory of Azerbaijan.
The evacuation process was conducted following the completion of relevant document checks, registration, and other necessary procedures, with all essential measures taken at the border crossing to ensure a secure transition.
After completing the necessary registration procedures, the diplomats were safely dispatched to their destination.
The evacuation of diplomatic missions and foreign nationals from Iran is being conducted in stages, under the supervision of the relevant state institutions, and without interruption.
