On March 2, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The discussions focused on the growing tensions in the region.
The ministers expressed deep concern over the ongoing military clashes, noting that such developments pose serious threats to regional security and stability. They emphasized the importance of de-escalating tensions and intensifying diplomatic efforts to resume the negotiation process.
The sides also underscored the necessity of adhering to the norms and principles of international law, as well as ensuring the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
