Azerbaijan sends another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Azerbaijan has delivered another shipment of humanitarian aid, consisting of electrical equipment, to Kyiv, Ukraine.

The handover ceremony was attended by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Mischenko, and other officials.

The shipment includes 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, 5 transformers, and 27,000 meters of cables and wires. The total value of this aid, requested by Ukraine, is 1 million USD.

“The international community continues to provide assistance to restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure. The government of Azerbaijan regularly supports Ukraine. This electrical equipment will be used to restore energy and critical infrastructure, ensuring health and other socially essential facilities receive power,” said Mykola Kolesnik, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine, to AZERTAC.

With this delivery, the total value of Azerbaijan’s humanitarian support to Ukraine - including aid for reconstruction and restoration - has now exceeded 45 million USD.
