As part of a working visit to Mexico, MPs of Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis Samad Seyidov, Jala Aliyeva and Sevinj Fataliyeva, met with Kenia López Rabadán, this country`s President of the Chamber of Deputies.

The meeting emphasized that the establishment of the Mexico-Azerbaijan Friendship Group and its efforts were lauded by Azerbaijan. The MPs noted that parliamentary diplomacy plays an important role in strengthening mutual understanding between the two peoples, implementation of the political dialogue and opening up new opportunities for cooperation.

The President and MPs of the Mexican Chamber of Deputies were informed about the real steps taken by Azerbaijan to ensure peace in the post-conflict period, the peaceful environment in the region, the importance of the meeting held in Washington in August 2025, the real content of sustainable peace, regional and international security matters, as well as new realities and a peaceful agenda in the South Caucasus.

President of the Chamber of Deputies emphasized the importance of the visit for the development of inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries, and wished success to the newly established Mexico-Azerbaijan Friendship Group.
