The 55th meeting of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (PUIC) will kick off on February 3 in the capital of Mauritania, Nouakchott.
MP Jeyhun Mammadov will represent Azerbaijan in the meeting, which will be attended by parliamentary delegates of member states.
The Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) is a multilateral organization comprising the national parliaments of member states within the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), established on 17 June 1999 through a founding conference in Tehran, Iran, with its permanent headquarters located there. It currently includes 54 members.
