“Section 907 is long, it's outlived its use. It's a relic of the early period of relations with Azerbaijan and the United States, and it really should be removed permanently, not just waived every year,” the President and Chairman of the US Saratoga Foundation Glen Howard told AZERTAC.
“There is developing peaceful relations with Armenia. It's trading with Armenia, it's supplying grain and energy to Armenia, and it's also they're very quickly normalizing relations. So, I think that 907 has long outlived its usefulness or whatever value that it had to the United States. So, it's time for it to go,” Glen Howard noted.
