On December 5, Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, met with the participants of the first Meeting of the Ministers of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku.
The sides highlighted the importance of the inaugural ministerial meeting of labor, employment, and social protection officials of OTS member states. They also hailed the mutually beneficial cooperation among OTS member countries across various fields.
Azerbaijani PM Ali Asadov expressed his confidence that the organization would continue its development and further increase its influence on the international stage under Azerbaijan’s chairmanship.
Ali Asadov also spoke about Azerbaijan’s state policy in the field of labor and employment, as well as the country’s ongoing social reforms. He noted that the creation of an innovative economy, increasing labor productivity, and enhancing social welfare have been identified by the President of Azerbaijan as strategic goals of state policy.
The meeting also included discussions on prospects for cooperation among Turkic states in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection.
