On November 27, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Luca Beccari, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Political Affairs, International Economic Cooperation and Digital Transition of San Marino, during his official visit to Italy.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and San Marino. They emphasized the opportunities for expanding political dialogue, activating the mechanism of political consultations between the foreign ministries, intensifying reciprocal visits, and developing cooperation across various fields.
The ministers expressed mutual interest in deepening economic and trade ties, exploring investment opportunities, and promoting cooperation in tourism, education, and humanitarian spheres.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his counterpart about Azerbaijan’s initiatives aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region, the normalization process with Armenia — including agreements reached within the framework of the Washington Joint Declaration — as well as the large-scale restoration and reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories.
The meeting also featured an exchange of views on cooperation within international organizations, as well as discussions on the situation in the Middle East, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and other regional and global issues of mutual interest.
