“The relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are currently positioned at the highest level – that of allies,” President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Uzbekistan’s UzA agency.
“It is of no small important factor that impacts on the development of our relations, is the personal, confident and friendly relationship I have shaped with the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev. In particular, I would like to highlight the President's personal contribution to the progression of our interstate relations and the way he constantly puts focus on the issues to consistently solidify the multifaceted cooperation,” the head of state added.
