Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population hosted a meeting with a Montenegrin delegation led by Mersida Aljićević, Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Family Care and Demography, held as part of the delegation’s visit to discuss the draft “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Montenegro on Pension Provision.”
Azerbaijani Deputy Minister Rashad Mustafayev stated that relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro are developing in a spirit of friendship and cooperation, adding that bilateral ties also encompass the social sphere.
Minister Mustafayev briefed the guests on the pension reforms carried out in recent years in Azerbaijan underlining the digitalization of pension assignments.
The meeting also discussed Montenegro’s experience in pension provision, as well as opportunities for continuing successful cooperation in the future.
