A delegation led by Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, visited the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan.
During the visit, Sheikhulislam Pashazade expressed satisfaction with the sincere and brotherly relations between President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He noted that their close friendship has played a key role in strengthening the strong and high-level cooperation between the two countries. He also emphasized the significance of both presidents attending the opening ceremony of the new Uzbek Embassy building in Baku, describing it as a milestone in the development of bilateral ties.
Sheikhulislam Pashazade presented Ambassador Bahrom Ashrafkhanov with a congratulatory letter addressed to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of his birthday. The letter underscored the importance of preserving the historical, cultural, and spiritual ties between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. It also praised Uzbekistan’s efforts in safeguarding its rich spiritual heritage—an invaluable asset for Central Asia and the wider Islamic world.
At the end of the meeting, Sheikhulislam Pashazade signed the embassy’s Guest Book.
