“Egypt and Azerbaijan share deep historical ties, and under the wise leadership of both countries' presidents, bilateral relations are growing even stronger,” said Egyptian Minister of Endowments Osama al-Azhari during a meeting with Seymur Nasirov, Chairman of the Azerbaijani Diaspora.

Reflecting on his participation in the religious leaders' conference held in Baku within the framework of COP29, the Minister highlighted the close cooperation between Egypt and relevant Azerbaijani institutions. He emphasized that Azerbaijan serves as a model of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence for people of different faiths, sects, and ethnic backgrounds.

Minister al-Azhari also shared his positive impressions from his recent visit to Azerbaijan, praising the beauty of Baku - a city that harmoniously blends modernity and tradition - as well as the cities of Khankendi and Shusha.
