Azerbaijan and Georgia are strategic partners. We have agreed to further promote this partnership, Maka Botchorishvili, Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, told reporters during a press briefing following the meeting with Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov.
The Georgian minister said that in the current geopolitical environment, the political stability existing between Georgia and Azerbaijan serves to protect common interests.
Minister Maka Botchorishvili emphasized that Georgia is interested in protecting stability and security in the region, adding that her country is taking consistent steps in this regard.
Noting that during the bilateral meeting with the Azerbaijani FM, they explored a diverse range of issues, Minister Botchorishvili said that such initiatives contribute significantly to fostering cooperation between Azerbaijan, Georgia and other partner countries.
