“I express my gratitude to Azerbaijan for organizing such a conference. Islamophobia is a complex issue with deep roots in history. It also leads to a clash of civilizations,” said President of the G20 Interfaith Dialogue Forum Prof. Cole Durham as he addressed the international conference themed “Islamophobia in Focus: Unveiling Bias, Shattering Stigmas” in Baku.
He emphasized the IF20 highlights racism as a serious, widespread problem requiring sustained attention across all aspects of the organization's activity.
“It must be acknowledged that Islamophobia is systematically linked to other issues. Working on these issues can be the most effective way to achieve real progress in combatting Islamophobia,” Cole Durham added.
