The Azerbaijan’s delegation led by Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Foreign Minister, visited Mongolia.

During the visit, Elnur Mammadov met with Battsetseg Batmunkh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia; Borkhuu Delgersaikhan, Minister of Roads and Transport and Odbayar Erdenetsogt, Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia.

The meeting discussed the exchange of high-level visits, investments, logistical opportunities, green energy, humanitarian issues and more.

The second round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Mongolia were held during the visit.

The consultations were led by Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Foreign Minister, and Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.

The consultations covered the expansion of bilateral and multilateral political relations, exchange of high-level visits, as well as the current state and prospects for cooperation within the international organizations, legal framework, trade and economic, energy, mining, transport, tourism, humanitarian matters and other domains.

Representatives of Azerbaijan`s Ministries of Economy, Energy, Agriculture, Defense Industry and AzerGold also met the top-ranking officials of the relevant government authorities of Mongolia.
