Georgian Speaker and Ministry of Foreign Affairs post on AZAL plane crash

Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, said he was saddened by the news of the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan.

“With great sorrow, I send my heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the Azerbaijan Airlines airplane crash. I extend my deep sympathies to the entire Azerbaijani nation. We share in your grief and wish a swift recovery to all injured,” the Georgian Speaker said on X.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia also made a post on X regarding the plane crash near Aktau. “We are deeply saddened to hear about the crash of Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft, which claimed dozens of lives. We would like to express our sincere condolences and profound sympathy to the government and the people of friendly Azerbaijan. At this difficult time Georgia stands in solidarity with strategic partner Azerbaijan. We wish those injured a speedy recovery,” the ministry noted.
