The Turkish media outlets have widely covered the key outcomes of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change held in Baku.
The Haber Global TV channel prepared a reportage from Baku drawing the audiences’ attention to the commitments undertaken by developed countries at COP29, who announced their readiness to invest $300 billion per year to address climate change.
The TV channel also highlighted the remarks by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who called COP29 a “turning point in climate diplomacy.” The author also presented expert assessments on this issue.
Anadolu Agency also drew attention to the active discussions on the “climate finance” conducted within the framework of COP29, as well as Azerbaijan’s contribution to the fight against climate change.
The agency also highlighted the assessment of Bosphorus University Professor Levent Kurnaz, who hailed the excellent organization of the climate summit in Azerbaijan.
