Rashad Ismayilov, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, presented his credentials to the country's Foreign Minister, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi.
During the meeting, Minister Badr Al Busaidi wished the diplomat success in his future endeavours aimed at further developing relations between the two friendly countries.
The two highlighted the continuation of fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Sultanate of Oman in bilateral and multilateral format, particularly within the Non-Aligned Movement, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The meeting also revolved around prospects for evolving relations in economic, energy, education, tourism and other domains.
Noting that COP29, scheduled to be held in Baku, would contribute to addressing global climate challenges, Minister Badr Al Busaidi wished Azerbaijan success in the organization of this responsible event.
