“All necessary conditions had been created for the voters to cast their ballots at the polling stations in Baku, Shamakhi and Gobustan, where we observed the voting process. The candidates were given the freedom to conduct their campaigns during the election period,” Ahmet Zenbilci, head of the TURKPA delegation said at a press conference on the outcomes of the snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.
“We highly appreciate the installation of ramps for disabled voters, as well as preparation of tactile ballot paper templates for visually impaired persons at the polling stations we monitored. The election process was conducted in a transparent and democratic manner in full compliance with international standards,” the head of the TURKPA delegation mentioned.
