Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission (CEC) has prepared a practical guide - "Handbook for Expert group members" within the framework of awareness-raising of different election stakeholders regarding the snap parliamentary elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan scheduled for September 1, 2024, the CEC told AZERTAC.
The main goal of implementing the project and compiling the booklet is to provide methodical assistance to the members of the expert group operating under the constituency election commissions, further improving their professionalism in order to investigate appeals related to the electoral right, and ensure the constitutional rights of citizens more efficiently.
The edition contains detailed information on procedures for examining applications related to the electoral right, as well as preparing relevant reports and draft decisions.
The "Handbook for Expert group members" were distributed to the constituency election commissions, and can also be obtained from the CEC official website (www.msk.gov.az).
