Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met Thursday with Alexei Bogdanov, Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus, and Alexander Rogozhnik, Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the strengthening of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus, stressing broad opportunities for the realization of issues on the economic agenda. The Belarusian delegation was informed about the antimonopoly reforms underway in Azerbaijan.
The parties also explored opportunities for collaboration in expanding trade, developing industry, localizing production, and standardization efforts.
