The normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan is very important because it would contribute to the opening of regional transport communications between Azerbaijan, Georgia, Türkiye and Armenia, said Adrienn Kiraly, Neighborhood East and Institution Building Director at European Commission, Report informs, citing Armenian media.
She made the remark on May 14 in Yerevan within the framework of the discussions themed ‘The Role of the South Caucasus in the Development of Sustainable Trade, Energy and Logistics Routes’.
The discussions took place during the meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
