The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) wants to take its relations with Azerbaijan to a higher level in the era of communication technology, TRNC President Ersin Tatar told the Turkish bureau of Report on the sidelines of the III Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

He noted that relations between the two countries need to be expanded and strengthened in all areas.

“We are very pleased with the unshakable unity of Türkiye with Azerbaijan, the fact that Azerbaijan has become stronger after the victory in Karabakh. President Ilham Aliyev also always says that he attaches great importance to the Turkic world. The expansion of ties between the Turkic states in all areas sends a signal that in the future we will be stronger. We must not forget that the Turkic peoples, with all their values, are an integral part of one family,” Tatar pointed out.

He added that he will visit Azerbaijan to participate in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which will be held in Shusha in July.
