We are here to observe Azerbaijani presidential election by the invitation of Milli Majlis. We are here to support your democracy,” said Deputy Chairperson of the Georgian Parliament, international observer Archil Talakvadze.

He noted that he has already visited more than 20 polling stations. So, the election process is going on in a calm environment with the protection of rules and procedure,” he mentioned.

“As we observe, activities are very good, very high. We observed the process of voting, how people are able to vote in free environment for their choice and for their president of Azerbaijan. We all understand that this election has very important role, and this is a historic process because the entire Azerbaijan and all citizens after the restoration of territorial integrity are now voting for its president. This is not just election for democracy but also election for sustainable peace. Georgia supports Azerbaijan, its sustainable peace, further progress and development,” Deputy Chairperson of the Georgian Parliament stressed.

Archil Talakvadze emphasized that at the end of the day when the polling process would be over, they would deliver a press conference for the media and make final assessments.
