Azerbaijani citizens residing in France are actively participating in the voting process at the polling station established within the Cultural Center under the Azerbaijani Embassy in France,” Azerbaijani Ambassador to France Leyla Abdullayeva told AZERTAC.

She noted that the polling stations had opened its doors to voters starting from 08:00 local time, with citizens energetically engaging in the electoral process throughout the day.

“This election is of pivotal importance for the Azerbaijani people. This is the first time the election is being conducted across the entire territory of Azerbaijan after the restoration of the country’s independence. Therefore, Azerbaijan, which has fully restored its independence and territorial integrity, embarks on a new phase of development. This victory is also a source of inspiration for the Azerbaijani citizens living in France, which is exactly why they are being actively involved in the process starting from the morning hours,” the diplomat added.
