The Azerbaijani community in Poland has held a peaceful protest rally in front of the office of "Polityka" media company located in the Polish capital, Warsaw.

The authorized rally, organized by the Council of Azerbaijanis in Poland, aimed to protest against the publication of provocative and slanderous articles by the correspondent of "Polityka" magazine Konstanty Gebert about the Second Karabakh War and the historical victory of Azerbaijan.

The protestors strongly condemned the spread of fake news under the influence of the Armenian diaspora in Polityka magazine. They called on the employees of the magazine to accurately verify facts, honestly cover the truths of Azerbaijan and adhere to principles of journalism such as objectivity and impartiality.

A member of the Board of Directors of the Council of Azerbaijanis of Poland Shamo Gubadov presented the protest statement of Azerbaijanis to the office of "Polityka" media company to be handed over to the editor-in-chief of the magazine.
