Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, within the meeting of Eastern Partnership Foreign Ministers, has met with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia Tanja Fajon, Report informs referring to the Press Service of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The sides stressed the importance of the political dialogue between the two countries from the point of view of the development of bilateral relations.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his counterpart about the current situation in the region, post-conflict realities, factors that determined local anti-terrorist measures implemented by the Azerbaijani side in September this year, as well as the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The foreign minister emphasized that real conditions had arisen for peace between the two countries.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on other topical issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation and topics of mutual interest.
