Azerbaijani, Russian foreign ministers meet in Moscow

A meeting between Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov has kicked off in Moscow, XQ reports. 

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the situation in the sphere of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be discussed during the meeting.

“We have several large projects. The International North-South Transport Corridor and many other projects in the energy sector. We will also exchange views on the situation in the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. I will be ready to exchange views on how our contacts in this regard are developing,” Lavrov said.

The top Azerbaijani diplomat on Monday embarked on a working visit to Moscow to participate in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Caspian littoral states.
