The Western Azerbaijan Community is hosting meetings with participants who arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the international conference “Ensuring the safe and dignified return of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia: Global context and a fair solution,” which will be held on December 5, XQ informs referring to the Community.

At the meeting of the former Ombudsman of Moldova Aurelia Grigoriu and the Chairman of the Council of Intelligentsia of the Community Elkhan Huseynov, the guest was informed about the humanitarian consequences of the deportation.

Aurelia Grigoriu stated that the expulsion of Azerbaijanis from Armenia is a violation of human rights and the deportation of Western Azerbaijanis does not contribute to the establishment of peace and mutual understanding between peoples.

More than 100 deputies, experts and other famous people from Azerbaijan and more than 30 countries will take part in the international conference.
