A peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan can be signed within the next 15 days if the parties have the political will, said Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan.

"(...). By and large, agreement has been reached on all fundamental issues, based on international law and the principle of equality," Simonyan told reporters on Tuesday.

He noted that there is no agreement yet on a meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

“Armenia fully recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, including Nagorno-Karabakh,” Simonyan noted.
