Iraq is trying to strengthen relations with Azerbaijan, especially in tourism, economics, and cultural fields, President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, XQ informs.
The President expressed hope that Azerbaijani and European companies and businessmen will invest in the Iraqi market. He stressed that the Iraqi government is interested in creating opportunities in this regard and adopting the necessary legislation.
According to him, the main priorities of his country are the protection of security and stability, the provision of services to the people, the protection of infrastructure, and raising the economic and investment levels to improve the living standards of citizens.
